I live in the DFW area. I was the Mother of an addict for five years until my Son passed away in September of 2019. After my son died I didn’t know how to function if I wasn’t the Mother of an addict. It has taken me almost two years of searching to try to figure out who I am now. Most days I still don’t know.

What I do believe is that Jake (my son) would want me to do something positive through this unbelievable grief. I hope to be able to reach Mother’s that have also lost their children to addiction. We need each other. No one can understand our struggles or our grief.
